There's always that one shoe that will always have your heart- the one that brings you out of your laziness spell. The one you take the time to clean and fix when it starts falling apart. This shoe does't come around often, but when it hits you, it hits you well. 

I got stung about 3 years ago on a school break, when a thrifting expedition with my then-roommate introduced these beauties into my life. She saw them as a reflection of me, passed them my way, and the rest is history.

They're the ones that have survived all the wardrobe cleanses and the college back-and-forth commotions. They're the loves of my life that I'll never give up on. So here's to them: the shoes that'll never fail to take my breath away.
